The puppet parade.
A painting based on some lovely photographs at a local parade in my hometown of Caldas da Rainha. The puppet represents “Ze Povinho” is a satirical character of social criticism, created by Rafael Bordalo Pinheiro and adopted as the Portuguese national personification. The Artist is also from the town.
